Delivery and Returns
Delivery is currently free on the island of Ireland and for almost all products is completed within 2-5 weeks depending on the geographic location of our suppliers and our customers, for Irish based suppliers the lead time is generally 1-3 weeks and for non-Irish suppliers this time is usually 2-5 weeks, this is of course entirely dependent on our suppliers having your order itself in stock. While every effort will be made to keep within this time frame it may not always be possible to do so - in the event of a late delivery we will inform you ASAP. www.homelinefurniture.ie will not be held responsible for delays outside of our control.
While we generally also offer free delivery to off shore islands and remote mountainous areas or nearest large town, we cannot assemble items with these delivery addresses and also delivery times may be somewhat longer.
If your dwelling is a non-standard one, i.e. for example with narrow non-standard doors, multiple staircases, difficult to traverse staircases, numerous access floors or in any way difficult to access, you are requested to disclose this information to us in the special instructions of the checkout page - failure to do so may incur non-delivery or delivery charges.
Once an ordered item arrives in our warehouse you will be contacted ASAP regarding an approximate delivery date which will normally be from Mon - Fri inclusive during normal business hours. You will also be contacted a day or two before the actual delivery and be given a more accurate delivery date, the delivery driver will also contact you an hour or two before the actual delivery. The onus is on you to make sure all phone calls/voice messages are answered, failure to do so may result in non-delivery. If delivery outside of these hours or on a specific day/time is required we will strive to accommodate you but this may not be possible and may possibly incur extra delivery charges.
If the shipping address is different to the billing address, please pay due regard to statements in this section - the same conditions will apply to this address and also please give any extra information in the special instructions section of checkout page, otherwise we cannot guarantee a timely & successful delivery.
If delivery/assembly date is agreed and nobody is present at stated delivery address to accept delivery then extra charges may be incurred for an agreed second delivery date/time.
All deliveries cannot be completed without a customer/proxy receipt signature.
Customer one year guarantee will commence from the date of signed delivery docket.
If a sold item is returned to us in pristine resalable condition, its original packing without any signs of damage within fourteen calendar days of the signed delivery docket, then we will refund the original discounted sale charge, however the cost of delivery to our warehouse in South County Tipperary, Rep. of Ireland must be incurred in full by the purchasing customer irrespective of the location you reside in. The item in question must also not be a custom order. If neither of these conditions hold then requests for refunds regrettably cannot be entertained.
